We’re Not Just Raising Riders — We’re Raising Rodeo People

It starts with horses. Always does. But somewhere along the way, it becomes more than that.
Rodeo teaches our kids to ride — sure. But it also teaches them to:
Show up early.
Work hard without a spotlight.
Shake hands with the judge, and with the kid who beat them.
At Rad Rodeo, we’re not just raising riders. We’re raising rodeo people (good people).
What Makes a Rodeo Kid
Rodeo kids aren’t just competitors. They’re:
Gate openers.
Ground crew.
Saddle haulers.
Brothers and sisters and babysitters.
They know how to work behind the scenes — because that’s what makes the run possible.
Gratitude is Part of the Culture
You’ll hear it after every ride:
“Thank you, barrel setter.”
“Thank you, tractor driver.”
“Thanks, Mom.”
It’s not just manners — it’s mindset. Gratitude keeps them grounded when they win. And it keeps them gracious when they lose.
They Learn to Cheer for Others
The best rodeo kids? They don’t just celebrate their own runs. They whoop for their friends. They hug their siblings. They clap for the kid who just ran the pattern for the first time.
It’s not about being the only one. It’s about being part of something bigger.
They Know This Life Isn’t Easy — and They Love It Anyway
There’s mud. There’s missed runs. There’s heartbreak.
But they saddle up anyway. They work horses at dusk. They pack trailers at midnight. They still love the ride.
Because rodeo people don’t just chase buckles. They chase growth.
Final Thoughts
We’re raising riders, yes. But more than that — we’re raising:
Hard Workers.
Hustlers.
Teammates.
Leaders.
Good sports.
Rodeo people.
And that’s a win worth more than any paycheck.
